🍻New Pub in Town🍕
Centro Cali Brewing, a new restaurant-bar and brewpub, is opening in downtown Bakersfield at 19th and Q streets, in the former In Your Wildest Dreams shop. Founded by James Tyson, the venue aims to revitalize Eastchester with craft beer, house-made pasta, burgers, and Neapolitan pizza. The building underwent major renovations to support its new purpose, and the team hopes to help turn the area into a vibrant destination for both locals and visitors. 🎬Edwards to get a Facelift!
Regal Edwards Cinemas in The Marketplace is undergoing major upgrades, including reclining seats, enhanced sound and visuals, and revamped concessions. Chosen as one of only 10 Regal locations nationwide for improvements, the theater—open since 1997—aims to stay competitive post-COVID. 🤘🏻Hard Rock Hiring Soon
Hard Rock Tejon Casino remains on track to open in late 2025 despite recent market turmoil. Hiring begins with management roles in May and June, followed by general hiring from July through September. Officials aim to hire at least 50% locally. A recent event at Bakersfield College attracted over 450 attendees and focused on vendor partnerships and community involvement, not job applications. Once positions are posted, applicants can apply at Gotoworkhappy.com.
