Measles Outbreak in California

California has confirmed nine measles cases across seven counties, including Fresno, Los Angeles, and Orange. Kern County currently has no reported cases. Measles starts with a fever, then leads to a cough, runny nose, conjunctivitis, and a rash. Health officials urge vaccination as the best prevention.
