📲TikTok Reinstated

Apple and Google reinstated TikTok in U.S. app stores after President Trump delayed enforcement of a law requiring ByteDance to divest or face a ban. The companies had removed the app in compliance with the law, but after receiving Justice Department assurances, they restored it. The Supreme Court upheld the ban, but Trump, now supporting TikTok, tried to prevent it. ByteDance is resisting selling its algorithm, while investors, including Frank McCourt and Kevin O’Leary, have shown interest in buying TikTok’s U.S. operations.
