Black History Parade
The 20th annual Black American History Parade kicks off Saturday at 10am at the intersection of 21st and V Street, celebrating Black History Month with the theme "Where Unity Resides, Our Community Thrives." The free event includes soul food, heritage awards, live music, and entertainment until 3pm, hosted by the Bakersfield Black American History Parade Committee.

🐟Recall Alert - Tuna
Tri-Union Seafoods is recalling canned tuna due to a packaging defect that could lead to botulism contamination. Affected products were sold at major retailers like Walmart, Costco, and Trader Joe’s. Consumers should not use them and can return them for a refund or replacement. No illnesses have been reported.

📖Bookmobile is Back📖
The Kern County Library’s Bookmobile is returning, bringing books, free Wi-Fi, and resources to residents who can't visit a library. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Feb. 20 at Green Acres Park. Weekly stops are scheduled across Kern County.
Additionally, the Wilson Branch Library has reopened after renovations, with a grand opening set for March 20.
